“Dear Chris, Tim and Paul,

Thank you for the Chris Read Academy on 25th and 26th October at Trent Bridge.

I had a really good time and learnt a lot over the week-end.  I particularly
enjoyed the intensive coaching in the nets and it was great to learn from such
experienced players and coaches. The week-end was great fun too.

I would be very interested in attending further week-ends at Trent Bridge, and
follow up sessions in Devon, particularly before next season, would be great. I
would certainly recommend the experience to friends, but wouldn't want it to
become so popular that there is no space for me!

Thanks again.”

“Thanks again for organising the weekend. Tom has sent back feedback form to
Lou - his comments are brief as you might expect from a 13 year old boy. The
whole weekend felt very professional, from the coaching to the accommodation, to
the organisation and support for parents.  For the future, a pack with information
about accommodation would be really helpful.

I think the weekend was fantastic - if the lads' behaviour was good, i am sure it
was because they were stimulated and inspired (and worn out!).  It was just what
Tom needed to keep his enthusiasm going after a stop-start summer.

In answer to your questions.  Yes, we would be willing to go up to Trent bridge
again. I think 2 weekends each winter would be manageable.  Even if facilities in
the new Exeter Uni centre are good, the visit to Trent Bridge offers something else
in terms of inspiration. I'm sure Tom would want to attend follow ups in Devon in
addition.  The frequency he could manage would depend on the timing (to fit in
with family and other sporting commitments). Maybe one a month?

We would certainly recommend to friends and other members of tom's club.

Thanks again.”

“Training session was ‘awesome’ according to Callum. Food was fab too!
(eating is his second favourite pastime, after cricket).

Last seasons U14 age group didn't have a spinner in their team so they didn't
get much practice or any coaching on how to bat against it. Callum would benefit
from more coaching in this area. He says ‘is there any chance of Shane dropping
in’!

Looking forward to the next one”.

“Dear Louise,

Thank you for providing Matthew with a fantastic day of enjoyable learning.
He has been set achievable tasks to enable him to improve his cricketing skills.

These tasks are obtainable and can be built upon further in the future, thus m
aking him a better cricketer. Chris and Tim are both excellent role models and
provided excellent training during the session.

Matthew is looking forward to the next session.”
